Ear Conditions

Ear Treatment

Typically an audiogram is performed before each treatment session. This allows the change from the previous treatment to be measured. The data is scanty now, but is expected to parallel that of the macular degeneration results. Namely, small progress is made each treatment, younger people get more progress per treatment, and history of cigarette smoking or other conditions which impair circulation slow the rate of recovery.

The exact treatment protocol is changing and being developed. As of beginning 2004 it consists of a French Auricular Medicine treatment (with ear studs placed in defined French and German points) followed by a Canadian Neuroanatomic treatment that directly stimulates the Eighth Cranial Nerve.

As more results become available, they will be published – so that the medical community will be able to analyze, duplicate, and improve these techniques.
