Ear Conditions

The ear in enervated by the 8th Cranial Nerve. CN VIII has two branches, the auditory branch which is responsible for hearing and the vestibular branch which is responsible for position sense. Disturbances in either branch cause symptoms which historically have been difficult to treat. Early trials at SFMA give exciting promise of reversing deafness, tinnitus, and vertigo.
